We had a great trip. Took our bikes so didn't have to rent but it was hot, hot, hot for Edmonton. Around 34-35 degrees and nobody around there has a/cUnfortunately, because of the kind of trip it was - visiting Erik's family - we couldn't do much biking. Did one 30 km ride in Spruce Grove when we were at his brother's place but that's it. I really wanted to go to the river valley but just didn't have time. No one seemed to understand that I needed to go there to take pictures for a girl I don't know in Australia... ha ha....
Yes, I have to admit we went to WEM but only because I brought my 8 year old son with us and I had promised to take him to the Wave Park. Holy $#!% it costs $30 each to get in there!! Cheap me - we ended up going back in the evening when we could get in for only $20 each... It was actually pretty fun but I hated the mall part. 500+ stores and every one is a clothing store for skinny teenagers... I think that's the last time I'll ever have the urge to go there...
So I'm home now, sitting up on my deck, drinking coffee and surfing on my daughter's laptop. Trying to figure out how I can go out riding right now since Jesse's home.... Maybe Grandma will watch him....
