TdF Stage 8- Spoilers???

Whoa, what happened today? Are we all suffering from Tour day schmalz, I mean France, overkill?

What about DZ in the breakaway? What about Phonak taking over for Disco and looking like a green'n'yellow train at the front? What about Thor's lack of SMASH and McEwen popping out of a hat again for the final sprint?

Please tell me we're not getting tired of it already-- There's still two weeks to go!

Thor or Kjell. Thor will SMASH. What will Kjell do?

I had a friend in college named Kjell. He was far enough from his Norsk heritage that he pronounced it "Shell". Just like what you'd find on the beach.

I can't watch the TdF because I don't have cable. i pretty much just read Tour Day Schmalz (love his photoshopped pics of him and Thor!!) and the cycling news.

If I could watch it, i think I'd be more into it.

I still say my hat's off to you. If I were smart, I'd hide my damned tv remote and spend more time doing other things (like finishing the repainting of my apartment that I began a year ago, riding my bike... Y'know, productive things).

Here's something scary that I just read over at bicycling.com. It doesn't seem to affect this year's TdF, but it sure might have an impact next year: Landis' Career in Question. What other bad news is gonna come out of this Tour?
