Husband and I will be in Chicago starting tomorrow until Friday for a little R & R. Looking forward to doing some serious shopping and want to head up to Halsted to visit my first actual Performance store. Also were thinking about renting bikes and riding the South part of the path.

Welcome to Chicago! It would be great to meet up. I'll have to check my schedule for lunch, but I can't venture too far away from the hospital. That shouldn't be a problem since Northwestern's Hospital is right off the Mag Mile.

Songlady, do you guys like sushi? If so there's a good place nearby. Otherwise there's a fun italian place with outdoor seating on St. Claire.
