May I add what I hope will be the final word about placentas? Stop talking about them! Sheesh. I actually have a great deal of respect for the placenta as an organ, and if you want a little educational talk, I'll be happy to comply. But only fishdr has mentioned placentophagy (repeatedly), and it grosses me out too! Since I have to/get to work with them all the time, stop talking about this bizarre practice! not really, of course. I always have more to say. Frankly, that thread is so BORING that I only read the amusing retorts from my TD friends.
