heh heh heh. Tell me about it. How about a combination of Peter Reid + not sleeping?!

Is there an smiley icon for throwing stuff at each other? Cuz I think we've about gotten to the pillow fight stage on thread drift! Chocolate? Anyone? I wish we could all get together and watch IM videos and eat great food and (some of you can) drink wine and go for a long ride, taking turns hauling MP in the BOB...

Sarah, I meant to tell you I loved what you said about your skeleton alone weighing 140#. Me too!

Now I'm off to the podiatrist. Here's what I want to hear: "Your toe numbness and the large, painful bunion you've had for 35 years can be quickly and easily remedied with these shoe inserts. Heeere ya go...all set. No surgery for you, missy!"

Oh, yeah. Well, I'll report back later tonight. I'm being a good little triathlete in training and NOT riding my bike to volleyball, today being a "rest" day, and all... See you all later. L.

PS: UK, thoughtful of you to save the ice cream. We all have to do our part.

And yes, Tater, when we're not talking about pigeons or chocolate or wine, I'm obsessing about why the guys I like don't call me back and the ones I don't like won't go away, and in between I'm scheming about when I can get some sleep, and oh, yeah, I should go for a run, crud, when was the last time I did any swim training, this is a triathlon board, after all, oh, heck, my beeper just went off....etc!

Now! I'm going to the podiatrist now! L.

Some Green & Black's chocky icecream jumped into my shopping basket tonight. I'm all sugared up and ready to give MP the first tow.

Yeah, but you'd probably dump her in some holly bush. She'd be springing leaks right and left.

Who is AL???????? What is his movie?

I am more attracted to the thought of licorice than milk chocolate.

Lise, I think Peter Reid would enjoy a TD pillow fight- maybe that's a way to get his attention!!

I think my ride is rained out. I just got home with chicken chow mein and a bottle of Bogle Petit Syrah (love) and a bottle of Cooper Mountain Pinot Gris (never tasted yet, organic, but I tend to hoard my PG- so who knows when _that_ will get drank drunken drinked is drank right?).

In the fridge is a partial bottle of Florida local cream sherry (why did I not respect my aunt for being a sherry drinker sooner? Why did I think that was an old person's drink?) actually still leftover from the hated-salmon- it's too potent to drink every night, and the horrid Toasted Head Shiraz- I don't want to ruin my pipes by pouring it out, like I did with the glass I had- I'm not sure what to do with it- age it in the fridge, I guess, and an unopened Florida native red- very sweet, foxy, one of my favorites, and the new Bogle. (If not refrigerated here, a room temp red would be 80 degrees!!)

Hopefully it will clear long enough for the torts to go out and graze.

SK- did you miss in the frenzy last night that the board of directors took a vote and decided the Fagalo Volcano should be awarded a consolation prize for speediness and creativeness, although not the correct answer? The CP has not been selected yet, but PM me if you would like to claim it.

    OMG I Forgot To Mention!!!!!!!!!

My brevet cards came back all certified or whatever they do, from Paris today. Also three of the four medals. (The 200k is delayed). They are _gorgeous!!!!!!_ I have to take a picture of them when I rescue the camera out of the truck when it stops raining.

Medals: The medals noting the successful completion of the brevets are: a bronze medal for 200 KM, a silver-plate medal for 300 KM, a vermilion medal for 400 KM, a gold medal for 600 KM, and a silver medal for 1000 KM. The design of the medals will change after each PBP.

I am such a doof! I never commented on this! HOW COOL!!! I am eagerly anticipating the pictures. I did not realize you got a medal for each one. Heck, in my opinion, you deserve to have them pinned on your chest on the steps of the Congress or something.

Wow Nanci - I really like that picture. You look like you are dancing, and your hands are in sort of a dainty pose. Very cool.

Excellent about the brevet cards. You must make a display. I should have ordered the 600k medal. That was dumb. Oh well. Next year.

And SK - what exactly do you think I would be "leaking" from the holly bush? Blood from the anti-coags or tequila??
