I am using my deductive powers to conclude that this is her and her husband.

This was a 26 mile ride!! WTF?

Remember, most of my rides are "slow" in her opinion.

Bear in mind this is an honest to god race - drafting, aggressive riding, etc. I crashed out last year and am apparently not doing it this year... I was going to try to beat my husband's time (just under 5 hours). Not likely. He must await my comeback next year. SARAH WILL SMASH!!

This sarcastic thought just came to me....Uhhhhh ..... maybe her bike computer is off and is reading artificially high when she rides at home. Now that would be ...well... amusing.

Yeah, maybe it is set for the wrong size tires. PP's computer on her small road bike seems to still be calibrated for normal sized tires. I can't break it to her that her ride length, pace, etc. is not what's shown. Need to find out how the heck to reset the thing!!

I told you I was going to bed. Oh, man, did I have some wierd dreams. Very strange. Can't even say what was happening, but I know my grandparents (who are dead) were there, and I was sort of hiding in the wilderness, and being in both worlds, of the currently and formerly living... and I was on call. Which is a drag when you're communing with the dearly beloved yet long departed.

OK, only 11 hr, 52 min to go on this call shift.

Do you think it's bad to eat a lot of salmon in one week? I made salmon salad from canned salmon, then bought this big piece of "wild Alaskan" salmon on sale, broiled it, realized it's 5 meals' worth for me...maybe I should freeze two of the cooked pieces. I mean the heavy metals etc issue.

    SK, sorry about your flat.

I can't believe that I'm not hearing more fireworks around here tonight. Probably because it's kind of chilly. Thank heavens.

Brina, thanks for the explanation about G-d. I thought it was a prohibition against writing the name, not against erasing it.

Going to read a bit and go back to bed, hope the pregnant ladies let me get a couple more hours of sleep.

I'm sure you've thought of this (I have a tendency to state the obvious - I'm working on this) ...do a hard reset on it and then set everything again. That's what I did when I switched my computer from my hybrid to the roadbike. I couldn't figure out any other way.

Ah ha - she's awake. I knew you couldn't stay away for long. That sounds like a seriously weird dream.

I would freeze some a couple of servings of the salmon. I asked Mr. Fish (who has one of his degrees in fisheries oddly enough) and he said that if you suddenly have the desire to swim upstream and spawn (errr uhhh you know what I mean, recreationally) that you might start to get worried. They only spawn once then go belly up. Gill slits, scales, or tail/fin formation could also be an indicator

uh, yeah, I am just psyched that I actually fell asleep and stayed asleep for a few hours. I have one heck of a time turning off the mind when I am on call. Sleeping is not my forte.

OK, then I'll freeze some of the salmon just so as not to get sick of such tasty fish. I am generally up for recreational spawning, but am far too selective to be a fish. As it were. L.
