Hey There!

It was a great ride but it was pretty warm at the end. I didn't have too much trouble with the heat (it was still a good 15 degrees cooler than here at home ) but you could tell it was causing everyone to drag!

We started out by going back behind the park to get in some hills... it was absolutely gorgeous back there... WOW!!! Then we took the bike paths towards the coast and ACG and I went with Mike up Newport Coast road... of course I was very slow but it wasn't too difficult. Nina and Alex went with Pam around the hilly area and we met up at a coffee shop for a break then headed back via the bike paths. Per Mike's little satellite thingy we did 44+ miles and about 2000 feet of climbing so it was a step up in difficulty from the first ride.

Brandy, you would definately get lost trying to find your way in the first section; I had NO idea where I was or which direction I was going! I'm sure you and Tiff will whip up those hills though

Anyway, it was great to meet you ACG, thanks for coming out! Nina and Alex, I hope you had a good drive home and have cooled off! And, Pam, thanks once again for the great ride - be sure to tell Mike how much I enjoyed riding w/him and appreciated the water at the end BIG time!
