I got an early start, even though it's my day off. I wanted to register for the Amtrak century, which usually closes the same day. Did about 20 miles with a lot of hill climbs. It was fun, if exhausting. I did see a coyote. I firs thought it was deer, as he was scoping me out, but then I got a good look at its ears.
OCW's website (the club that runs the Amtrak century), is not working right now, It won't take a credit card registration, so I'm going to mail. Was gong to ride some to my YTD mileage up to 3800, but spent too long on Amtrak. I 'm supposed to be supposed to be in San Bernardnio at noon to discuss doing some part time for a friend. I'd like to see it come through, as it sound quite neat and would be a feather in my cap, but he is more bark than bite. At least I get a free lunch at the Indian Casino out of it.
