Bought a road bike!!

I tried a bunch of different bikes but finally settled on the Giant OCR1 for many reasons. It was very comfortable, I got a full Ultegra "groupo", it fits me (extra small....yikes), it has carbon fork and seat post, it was in my price range, it was at my favourite LBS so I know I can trust them and will get great service, and it is blue/silver so it's very pretty.
I tried to attach the picture, not sure if that will work...
Today was the last day of school and my class gave me a $250 gift certificate to the LBS so I also bought - real bike shoes, a good cyclocomputer with cadence, a Sugoi tank top, and two water bottle holders!! Hee hee, I love shopping. What great parents!!!!
Erik brought his MT bike along when I took her out for a test ride and we climbed a hill. Needless to say, I left him in the dust. That's when I knew I was sold. I swapped out the seat for a more comfy one (may still change that again if necessary), also had them install spacers in the brake levers so I can reach them a bit easier. Looking forward to picking her up tomorrow! Unfortunately, I'm heading out of town Saturday morning and won't be able to really go for a ride until I get back a week later. Oh well, good things come to those who wait...
