I'm a big fan of Look's. Have them on both my bikes.

"Only the meek get pinched, the bold survive"
And so far so good! They are REALLY easy to get in and out of.
I have a pair of shoes for outdoor cycling and a pair of MTB shoes with SPD cleats for Spinning. I found my Spinning shoes really cheap at Performance.
I have Look pedals as well. My cleats fit both my bike and the bikes in the spinning room. Lucky me!![]()

Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

I guess i am still going with toe-clips. I find them totally adequate for touring or just going on 20-30 mile rides, and for around town they're awesome. No carrying extra shoes to change into, b/c you can wear just about anything.
Anybody else still use toe-clips?
another eggbeater vote.
MTB variety. Easy to clip in and out and with a little more float than SPD.
My knees like Frogs, although after STP I'm going to try Eggbeater Quattros.
