Yesterday, I was supposed to ride with Plushride, but it rained. Since the forecast last night said we would have downpours this afternoon, I got up at 5 and rode 17.5 miles, to make my goal of 1,000 by July 1st. It was really crappy out. Foggy, misty, to just about raining when I got back. I had my yellow glasses on, but they were fogged up half the time, until I pushed them up to my forehead, below my helmet as I made my last climb, because I couldn't see a thing. I'm sure I looked like a total dork. I actually saw quite a few cyclists, all going the other way. No one passed me, and I didn't pass anyone, except a deer who jumped across the road in front of me about a mile from my house.
With my odometer at 1,000.88 I now have to figure out how to get another 1500 by the time winter starts (and do all of the other things I need to do)!
