    2 years on the bike!

almost forgot that today is the anniversary of my 2nd year of riding! i still remember how excited i was when shopping for my bike and bringing home my dolce! (and having to wait til monday after work to ride it cuz it was already dark when we got home sunday night!) and of course... falling over immediately with my clipless pedals! and naturally i had forgotten to put on my gloves... so i had gravel in my hands!

    my second year (jun 28, 2005 - jun 27, 2006) i had a grand total of 7555.95 miles!

    my first year (jun 28, 2004 - jun 27, 2005) i rode 6648.30 miles...

    that's a grand total of 14204.25 miles in 2 years/24 months!

i shall go for a nice rice after work.... even though it's hot and humid (for the desert!) just to celebrate!

You're obsessed!! (But in a good way!) Isn't it nice to find a sport that you don't get tired of/burned out on?

AND my celebration glass of wine, too! (They just told me to make sure my windows are up... is the weather going to NOT cooperate with me doing an anniversary ride?)

And here I was pleased I am over half way toward my second year goal of 3500 KM!

    I'm well-impressed Cali!

Thats just awesome... cycling is not a passtime or a hobby - its a calling, a passion, a yearning in the veins

    Obsession is gooood!
