I think I'm in Love with...

my new recumbent. I just can't seem to get in enough ride time. Maybe I feel this way because it's new and different. I'm still slow on it but each ride bumps my confidence up a little and I go a little faster and a tad bit further. Maybe I'm in love with it because of it's color, the purple I picked out looks wonderful and it shines in the sunshine. Maybe it's because I've not had a new bike since I was a kid. My Univega was purchased used in 1986 so it was not brand new, straight out the box. All I know is every time I look at my purple bike a giant grin consumes my face in nanoseconds. Is it just me or is this common for new bikes?

Yep I think your pretty normal. My new bike is right here in the study and I love being able to take a look at it while Im wandering around the house doing house work or chatting here at TE.
