Wow, that is so awesome! One of my dream adventures would be to kayak into the Sea of Cortez. I don't know if it will be too much cooler but at least you should have a sea breeze.

    Did someone say Margaritas?????

I reckon if they put margaritas at the top of every hill, I'd climb 'em a lot quicker!

    Memo to the USAT

    Dear USAT,

Please consider switching up the order of the events in sanctioned triathlons. I know for sure I would run much faster if I were running to my bike. I'm sure the other triathletes won't mind the change. Thanks ever so, LH

Wow - I was offline for a day and there are a gazillion posts in thread drift!

Queen - congrats on the job! That's super cool! I haven't been diving in 15 years! I used to love it. Enjoy it - sounds like a dream opportunity.

We're in Knoxville this weekend. I'd love to have my bike here - there are actual hills! It's amazing what a difference in habitat and latitude will do for reducing mosquitos. We sat out on the patio last night until 9:00 and not a single mosquito was seen! At home, we would've been little husks of people. Nanci - what are the squitters like around you?

We saw a team car for Team-Will.org from California with a big sign on the back that said "bikes ahead" on I40. Anybody know them?

according to the website it's a cross country ride that's a fundraiser to fight childrens cancers. There's a map that shows their progress cross the country, cool that you saw them. Who are they headed to next?

I just had to jump on this thread to say, "WOW!" because I saw the team car traveling down I-15 in Utah a week or two back. Hadn't really thought much about it 'til I saw this thread. I'll have to watch the website for progress now.
If you can read this, take a pull.

I'm sorry, you can not just jump in like that. We only allow the discussion of birds, chocolate and Lises dates on thread Drift

I agree, although I might wobble a bit on the descent.

I saw a guy on a bike yesterday, pulling a little covered cart with a Rottie puppy in it! I thought, "Look! It's baby Brina!"

Better not ever come to our house. I will never understand how I could have given birth to morning people.

I just love it that 'round midday on weekends there is almost NO activity on this board! We're all out riding!

Trek - we must have seen them as they were leaving Nashville. Looks like they're headed to Raleigh, NC. Yesterday they were taking almost the same route we did. We were on 40 and it looks like they were paralleling it. Whoever was riding (we didn't see any riders, unfortunately) had to go through some really bad storms. Not fun.

I'm sitting here waiting on another family (wife and kids) to meet us to go swimming. My kids are currently trading off jumping on the beds and playing hide and seek under the covers. At least y'all can bring me some sanity

There are some really bad cartoons on toon disney channel. Help me!
