Wow! You guys are so cool! I can't tell you how much I admire your riding on dirt tracks, with all the hazards that come with that. Scares me. It looks like a lot of fun, with its own set of skills. Glad you had such a great time, and thanks for the picture! Hmmm....do I sense X-terra triathlons in your future? (always recruiting for the tri board) L.

Are you kidding? I don't run and I don't swim. You can't make me.

I only spin in the dirt (and on the pave.)

You're right. I can't make you. It happens allllll on its own...one day.... ...and you're running! you're swimming! On your bike you're thinking, WHY? WHY DO I HAVE TO RUN AND SWIM TRAIN?

    Wait. That's me.

    Never mind.

I *do* love triathlon, and X-terra looks really cool. But I hurt myself enough without the tree limbs and rocks helping. L.

4 knee ops for chondromalacia makes me sane when it comes to running. High speed tree hugging hurts a lot less.

Did yellow tell you about the time we had to hike about 25 yards down a steep path? My knees hurt for a couple days after and hadn't hurt for thousands of bike miles. Nope, I like rocks 'mo bettah.

Yikes! And I'm such a weenie about dirt/rocks/trees just cuz I have a few scars on my face from a dirt face-plant lo' these many years. Sorry to hear about the knees. Yellow's good for getting you to go up and down places, isn't she?

School's out in the US? Oh how I hate you all! Mind you, I'd be up a severe financial creek for the summer without the four more weeks work I have yet to do. If only I could work half as much and get paid twice as much.
