From shimano. Not the lbs. I am not sure but I think it is cause my husband bought the parts directly from them. Now I am worried that this is going to be a pain. it is not only my bike but my BF too. My husband built both our bikes. And my friend doesn't have a pin to replace her's temp. Her old bike is a over 20 year old rock hopper. Imagine going from a brand new bick back to riding your over 20 year old commuter bike? She is not going to happy!
