Some of you might know me as Biking Kitsune... I left the board awhile ago just before sorting through my recent divorce, but I'm back, and back on the roads and trails... and ladies, it's good to be 'home'.
Real name: Ronnie
Where do you live? Beaverton, OR
Explanation of your handle: I've always loved foxes, so imagine my amusement to hear of a japanese trickster fox spirit that could take the form of a seductive young woman!
Explanation of your avatar: Eventually I'll upload it. The one I have in mind is a black and white one of myself the day I met my girlfriend
Age (general or specific) 22 Dec 5th
Occupation: Security Officer
Favorite Bike? I love the sexy, sleek lines of the newer stumpjumpers =)
What's in your stable? Specialized Rockhopper, '04
Fastest speed on a road bike? Don't do the roadie thing...
Another picture of yourself or your ride? I have one of myself and my ex husband together on the top of a hill in Eugene...
What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I can't remember, which means I've either told too many, or I don't lie! (I'll let ya'll pick!) Nice one, Corsair...I'm going to say the same for now. =)
Most memorable moment on my bike: Riding to work the morning after the '04 election, my ex started to cross the street (he always rode way out infront of me) and he was hit by an SUV right in front of me, was flipped up onto the hood and fell on the other side of the vehicle on his head (thankfully in-helmet). I'm not sure when I actually got off my bike and picked it up, but for some reason, by the time I was actually at the SUV (which stopped) I was carrying my bike and shaking it threateningly. I don't know who was more scared- me, or the driver! (my hubby was alright except for a sprained ankle, btw)
Most fun ever had on a bike? I got on my bike for the first time in 6 months for my birthday, and rode around Brown's Camp in the snow. It was slushy, my asthma wanted to kill me, and it was cold, but it was like visiting Wisconsin for a trip home, so crisp, clean and beautiful. I was thoroughly spattered by dirty snow by the time I was done, and thrilled!
