I love these types of discussions.

Personally, I shave because my leg hair is really coarse and frankly it can be painful on my skin when it rubs against clothing. I had my pits & brazilian lasered a few years ago and I am so happy. I used to get horrible ingrowns and irritation. All that's left on my pits are some light downy hairs that I'll occasionally trim. For down there, I chose to leave a little "landing strip" when I had the lasering done. Occasionally I'll trim/shave all of it off, but I'm pretty lax about it now. I'm just glad that the underwear-escaping thicket in the front and the buttcrack hairs are gone for good.
