[QUOTE=Hammer]I'm eyeballing new sunglasses. I was considering the Tifosi Gavia, metallic pink shades...

ohhhh I saw those too. I want some! I am really starting to look like a bag of skittles when I ride though. I have orange, yellow or blue jerseys. My roadie is Kandy mango, my MTN is green all with pink glasses??? hmmm

Are they polarized? I notice such a big difference when moving in and out of shadows. I really gotta have polarized.

Mine are not polarized, but do a fantastic job of cutting down glare.

I like the skittles imagery! LOL

    Thumbs up Highly Recommend Tifosi!

I am on my second pair of Tifosi glasses. My first Quam 1.5s met their demise in the mouth of my furbaby. My second pair is the Gavia (I think) in metallic blue. I love the interchangeable lenses.

Why I love Tifosi so much: DH ran into the back of a parked truck with his Quams. He had a nasty gash on his head and a sprained wrist, but the Tifosis held up like champs. He lost one of the rubber ear pieces and I called Tifosi. After a good laugh (the story is funny) they sent out some free replacements. All that for $50!

Arrrgh!!! Dont say those words Raven

Ummm... over here we have shops called "The $2 Shop"... and guess where I get my sunglasses.... yes they do have some UV protection, yes I can get in a range of dark lensed and light lensed...

1... I want BIG sunglasses that sit low on my cheekbones and wrap round the side - in summer it helps an incredible ammount with managing my hayfever. Cycling glasses tend to be quite narrow.

2... I'll be damned if I will spend a huge ammount on sunglasses when $2 will suffice... (though my sons both have cycling glasses with interchangeable lenses).

Guess I shop for sunnies the way I shop for shorts... the best deal that will do the job.
