Yet anonther beautiful day to spend some time on my bike. Skies are blue, temps in the mid-80's, humidity is still low and a very slight breeze is blowing. I had planned to only ride about 20 miles today but once I got out on the road, settled in I decided to ride a little further. I explored a couple of new roads and ended up simply wandering around my county for about 2 hours. I got in 32 miles and averaged 16.1 mph today.

I got in 20 miles. First day that I rode in over 80 degree weather. I found a hill so steep that I was afraid to look at my spedometer! I KNOW what 25 mph feels like and it was faster than that. On the return trip, I almost made it up the hill. I got nervous, unclipped and lost my momentum. All with only 50 yards to go! The rest was fun and more hilly than usual for me. I live in a pretty flat land so any hills are a challenge. I am just starting to get the hang of when to change and which chainring to be on.

I rode 10 miles yesterday evening at Kiawah. I had a busy day and just kind of did the ride because I knew it was on my schedule. My legs were killing me from leg day at the gym. Luckily, today is off day and I'm taking a golf lesson. Woo-hoo! It's getting nice and toasty here -- in the 90s today and the real feel is 94 with 71% humidity -- lower than the humidity usually gets, so I'll take it.

Ya'll be good and have a Happy Friday!!
