you're doing IMLP? COOL! I realize Running Mommy set the bar a little high by keeping us so well informed, but I for one would love to hear how the training's going!

WOW- you're doing Lake Placid??? I'm so excited for you!!! 38 days will fly by so quickly, and before you know it- you'll be IRON!!

How is the training coming along? Your race is about 8 weeks before my iron distance race, so you'll have to give me some of your best training tips. I like when Denise did a top 10 things she learned training for the IM. What has worked well for you? What would you do differently?
Please tell all! I'd love to hear all about your journey!

I found this site today that has some GREAT inspiring ironman videos. Here's a link to my favorite video I've found so far:

    Makes me get teary...

The site is youtube.com and if you go there and type in ironman you'll see some videos to watch to get you "in the mood."

Please report back- we 'd love to hear all about your training!

oh no, that video made me cry...

today I went for a ride, did 105 km (65 miles i think). I spotted my Aunt out on her bike so I caught up and rode with her for a while which was awesome. It had been a long time since I'd rode with anyone and the extra push is great. I got a crazy bad headache though. When I got home I had to go right to school, and I kept falling asleep in class Nothing quite like training and lectures to put you to sleep in a hurry

Next week my boyfriend is taking me down to Placid so that I can hit up the bike course. I did once around last summer, think it was 4 hrs and a bit. So I'd like to try to get twice around in, but I have to plan that out yet.

Anyway, I'm off to the pool. I'll let you know what's happening.
