Just back from a nice relaxing ride. Did just over 12 miles but at a VERY slow pace. Started off ok, but then chose to come back along the river path. Turns out the first half of it is completely overgrown and a bit difficult to manauver by bike. But if you don't mind bugs and nettles, it's great. Very scenic and quiet. Nice to exchange the dust and exhaust of the city for some fresh vegetation, beautiful red poppies in full bloom, bleeting sheep and lots of shore birds foraging along the river. Therapeutic!
