... I recently (on Saturday!) learned about doing long, slow distances - at a reasonable heart rate and before eating in the morning - for fat burning. Just started with this on Sunday, so 2 days doesn't really give me a track record as of yet. But I had lost 30 lbs on a trek to the base camp of Mt. Everest 2 years ago - and it was basically the same thing, just walking for 6+ hours and eating 3 meals a day. Of course, I can't dedicate more than 1-2 hours each morning... so it's going to be slow. I need to lose another 20-22 lbs to get back to where I was. Hopefully this will do it. Got all my fingers crossed.![]()
