Ooooh! Very nice! Nice fireplace too.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Tell us a little bit about her! Was she custom built just for you? Materials?
Nice bike! Saddle looks comfy, too. Mine's not very...

Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

It's a hand laid carbon full monocoque frame. Seatpost, fork, stem, handlebar are all carbon. The frame also has kevlar. Ultegra 10 components. The handlebar is an ITM Sword. Wheels are Easton Ascent II.
As far as the seat goes, I've had it for 2 years. It is comfy and I have no problems with any "parts."
The reason it's in front of the fireplace is that it's been raining for about 100 days here.![]()
Congrats Robyn! I was hoping that you were able to take her out yesterday (I managed a short and dry ride after work...). But I'm sure your new steed is happier in front of the fireplace than roaming in today's rain! Here's hoping that tomorrow will be better.Originally Posted by Robyn Maislin

Send some rain this way. But not at the end of June, that's when my Serotta is due in, I hope!

Jeez, I just managed to fend off an attack of new-bike buying only a few weeks ago, and now I have to hear about new bikes for apparently almost everyone BUT me. It's more than I can stand, I tell you.![]()
Gorgeous, delicious new bike--enjoy as soon as you can! And send some rain this way, too--we've so far had about 1/4 of our average rainfall for this time of year. Though we ARE getting lots of nice cycling weather.![]()

WOW! That took my breath away! I love their bikes. Their tri rigs are right up there with the Orbea in terms of "oooohhh" factor. And next in line is the Guru and Elite.. ahhh... I could own a stable, yes I could!![]()
Robyn - I have a friend that just got the same bike this week and she loves hers as well! Congrats!!
Does she have a name??
