    team jerseys cut for women

Why do guys get all the good jerseys? I'm trying to find men's pro-team jerseys cut for women. I'd also be somewhat happy to find women's cycling team jerseys (other than TE). After all, we girls like to support our teams, too! I'm really tired of having to settle for plain-jane, ugly jerseys we women are relegated to wearing. I don't sew, so don't even mention altering a $90 jersey! what a disaster that would be!

Are you looking for Men's ProTeam Jerseys or Women's Pro Team Jerseys?

Some of the women's pro teams offer women's clothing. I have an old Lorena jersey and some Timex shorts from "back in the day". Not easy to find. Guess women aren't as "marketed to" as men. Be warned that even most of the "womens" stuff is sized to bike-racer ideal: broader shoulders, skinny arms, b-cup chest, and boyishly-slim hips.

Men's pro team kit tends to come in unisex Euro sizing. Don't feel too badly; 90% of the male US population doesn't fit into it either! Those guys are tiiiiny. We got some of the new Nike Italian-made USPS Special Edition shorts in and all the guys in the shop were holding up the medium shorts saying "THIS is a medium???". (BTW...if you are petite some of the Euro stuff fits quite well).

Try looking at team-sites for teams that field a women's squad (T-Mobile? Webcore? Trek/VW?) if you want womens-specific clothing.

I totally agree-I find more of the women's jerseys to be way too plain. I like the logos/sponser etc....I too am on the look out for that special women's jersey.

    Ashgarth,

You may want to check out the America's Dairyland jersey. They are a team based in Wisconsin. I found them through a link from the Cannondale website, which is one of their sponsors. And if you like pink, well, all the better.
