ROFL SK!!!
So, if I got the AV logo tattooed, and decided to ride with this group, would the tattoo count as my "wearing the logo during a charity ride" event?![]()

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Their FAQ says (in response to whether riding naked is uncomfortable):
"Suprisingly, for both women and men, riding naked isn't especially less comfortable than riding clothed. When riding with clothes on you're often rubbing against the seams, so in some ways naked riding is comfier! Ride routes will often be chosen with less experienced cyclists in mind, so will avoid hills and be more leisurely in pace, increasing comfort."
I'm not so sure about that!
I can't remember how I landed there, but I remember finding a group that did (perhaps with the world naked ride) a "critical t*ts" ride... so those all important shorts weren't forgotten, but their points were made, so to speak.
My delicate white skin would just char too easily... but there is somehting to be said for enjoying nature...
Surprise, there's one in SF...I just don't see the correlation between cycling naked, sharing the road, and oil. I think I would understand it better if their mission were, "we want to cycle naked."
I stumbled upon the one in Portland in 2004 and ran away going, "oh, my eyes!" They should really have to post warnings along the route or something. Not everybody wants to see that...
I would do it but, I have leather saddles, it's 100 degrees here....
Kidding, I'm only kidding!!!
