    Good luck on your century!

Fridays and Mondays are off days on my schedule, so I went to the gym and did chest/biceps.

    Happy Friday!

I got in 15 miles, but the skys were threatening, so I headed back. I wanted to do 25, but maybe next time! I did get to scout the route for my 10 yr old son and I to use to get to his Cub Scout Bike Rodeo on Monday. That should be fun! I bet he will bike farther than anyone else (about 10 miles to the event)!

It was raining in the morning so I didn't commute on my bike (I know, coward,
    slacker)
However, at noon I noticed it was dry out so I took out the 40+ lb Worksman shop bike and rode 6 laps around our building (2 miles) at top speed.
if anyone here thinks they need a fancy road bike to get good exercise,
think again. That old cruiser gave me quite a workout! and I must have been going all of 10 miles per hour! gasp. no kidding.

Ran this morning and got in a short ride in at lunchtime - 10 miles. It was 90F (felt like 99F). I could feel waves of heat coming off the black pavement. Not good. I'm going to do a relatively long ride tomorrow, so I didn't want to do myself in today. I'll be up at 5:15am tomorrow to beat the heat. It's supposed to hit 95-97 tomorrow. Blakh!

Rode 17 miles in cold and cloudy weather. But glad to be on the bike! Hoping for clearing this weekend. Maybe a longer ride in my future.
