    Great ride with tprevost yesterday!

Tracy met me at my place, and after dropping of two of my kidlets at the neighbor's for a playdate, we were off! We rode out past Calero to Buffalo Hill. (Tracy wasn't even breathing hard - you sandbagger!! ) We made it to the top, turned around, went back towards Calero. We decided to descend Bailey and return via Santa Teresa. The descent was fun and we had a nice chat all the way back, thanks to the nice, wide bike lanes.

Tracy is an awesome riding partner! We had great conversation and she tooks lots of pictures. Unfortunately, a lot of them were of my butt.

All in all, we did about 23 miles. Oh, and I forgot to put on sunscreen and ended up with sunburned arms and face.

Thanks, Tracy, for coming out and making it a great day!!

Are you guys going to have special jerseys made, too? (I'm thinking I may need a Krebs Queen jersey soon.)

"We're going to need to work on a team jersey for jobob, TrekHawk and BikerHen - TEAM SANDBAGGER. Just can't guite think of the right graphic . . ."

very cool! I had to laugh at the team sandbagger...

man... Tracy is just becoming a riding MACHINE hey tracy... you keep putting those miles on and you'll be blasting by all of us in nothing flat!

oh... and slinke... she took pics of my butt too... yeah, I begged her not to post them... more proof she is a good person! That is a view we just don't need here on the boards...

    sandbagger.... Huh! not me!

I do NOT know WHAT you guys are talking about... sandbagger my behind! I just have a lower granny than Slinke does, you should see her whip down the hills... just like a pro! I was poking along and when I got to the bottom of Bailey all I could see was a teensy pink dot! I do have lots of pictures of her butt though.... but, that's all I could do since I was always tryin' to keep up!

Thank you Slinke for a great ride; well worth the trip up all by itself!

    Tracy

ps. I'm up in San Jose still so I'll post pics when I get home!
pps. BC68, Thank you AGAIN (and Again, and again) for the descent coaching, it really came in handy... you're da bomb and I was telling Slinke that up til now, you've missed your calling! Coach BC68, Yup, that's it!!!!

    Okay, here's some pictures!

I'm back for a couple of days before heading off for a vacation!

Here are some pictures I took on the ride... and, yes, most of them are of Slinke's behind.... I can't help it, I'm always in the back tryin' to keep up!

Here's a shot of Shannon riding beside the reservoir

A self portrait Slinkedog (left) Tprevost (right)

here's Shannon starting up "Buffalo Hill"

... and here she is getting close to the top... still Buffalo Hill... its a long one!

This is rounding the last bend before getting back to Slinke's house... she lives in the prettiest neighborhood!

We had such a good time and I can't wait to come up and ride again! Next time we are riding UP Bailey!

Yes, note how much closer she is to me at the top of Buffalo Hill! She made up a lot of ground on me!! (sandbagger!)

Thanks for posting the pics, Tracy! That was a very fun ride!

We will definitely do Bailey soon. I'm off my bike for a couple of days, though, because I burned the heck out of my hand tonight cooking dinner. Yeowch!

    Slinke,

oooh, bummer about the hand ! I hope it isn't too bad and heals very quickly! You are such a goober, I am so not a sandbagger... quit sayin' that or someone is going to think I can do more than I can!!! I'm tellin' ya, its that 27 in front, you've gotta getcha one of those!

I did do Stevens Canyon Wed... very slowly but I made it up the hard hills; it was SO beautiful back there... at least after I got past the quarry - I spent the mile or two before the quarry worrying about the huge trucks coming by me!

Thank you SO much for riding with me! You and your girls are adorable!!!! I actually meant to get a picture of you w/them but I totally forgot once we got back to the house... next time I will for sure!

Have a great evening and tell DH you need to be taken out for dinner until your hand heals!

    Trac'
