I have bought Her Sports, when I can find it at EMS. But, reading it makes me feel like I am NOT an athlete. I don't want to hear about another 67 year old woman who runs 10 marathons a year, cycles 5,000 miles, teaches 20 Pilates classes a week, and scales 10,00 ft. peaks for a hobby. While, I might admire someone who is like that, it will never be me. Plus, there's not much about cycling in there, either. The annoying ads in other mags are a downer, as are the sexist photos of women. But, I don't mind articles about losing weight or other types of exercise. I agree, a cycling mag just for women would probably not make it financially, so just make the ones we already have gender-equal. I do read Bicycling. I just ignore the stupid stuff, as does my husband.
