Tomorrow at 8 am I interview for a job I really really want. As an added bonus, I can easily do the 5 mile bike commute on not too busy roads. I will not be commuting to the interview, just to the job if I get it Ladies, cross your fingers!!!!

Go for it! Go in there and tell them why this job is right for you and you are right for the job!

Remember: you are offering them your expertise, not asking them for a job.

    It went great!

I had a terrific interview. Now I have to wait for call backs. I am supposed to hear either today or Monday. Then I have a second interview (if i am lucky) on Mon. or Tues. My stomach is one big knot.

Thanks for the vibes. I did not get the job. they said they really liked me though and would keep my resume incase another opening came up. Do they all say that? The last one did too. School jobs in Michigan are just a torture to obtain!!!

So sorry, Barb! And no, I don't think they ALL say that. But since they did say it, I'd call them back every so often, or send a note reminding them that you're still interested and would like to hear from them if they have an opening. I got a job I wanted that way--by being the squeaky wheel for about 6 months.

Sorry about that Barb, it is never fun to hear that they hired someone else for a position that you want. Keep your spirits positive and don't give up hope. The right position is out there waiting for you and you'll be relaxed and happy when the fit is good.
