I've been wearing my Buffs year 'round here in the Washington, DC area (we have extremely hot/humid summers) and they are great at sweat absorption.

I learned a trick many years ago for keeping sunscreen from sliding off of my forehead into my eyes - also caused by sweating. Maybe this will work for you too. I put lip balm on my eye brows, and it helps prevent sweat from sliding into my eyes.
Hope this helps you too!

Similar to what Denise says, I've heard that if you put KY jelly over your eyebrows, sweat can't get through.

I use cycling caps or a headband, though I've found recently that the caps do a better job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes without overheating my head like a headband can.

Several of my friends & I use Headsweats year-round ... they have a sweatband sewn in at the bottom & are made out of Coolmax material which helps wick away the sweat. I also have one of their hats for running or after riding ... works really well!

Thank you all for your suggestions! I'm going to look at all of those things (headbands, etc.) and see what just might work for me. It isn't REAL bad until I stop....then it runs in my eyes and I cry![]()
Okay, I'm off to go biking, my favorite thing, with my dear husband! Gotta get at least 20 miles in today before the sun goes down!!

I have the Headsweats headband (and their hats) and several Buffs. The Buffs are great - so versatile! Cold weather, warm weather, whatever you want. I have also used bandanas of various colors, which are ok, but not very wicking.
I am also a fan of the Halo headbands, which they carry at REI:

For some reason, I don't like the idea of something covering the top of my head in the summertime - I like to get as much air flow as possible there.
