How exciting. My son and daughter (8 and almost 6) are really interested in my bike and my son keeps asking if they make road bikes in his size. I think it would be amazing to have this turn into a family affair!

That's really cool. I think I need some time to ease dh into the cost involved with becoming a cycling family!

    Congrats! That's fantastic!

My daughter (4 and still learning to ride without training wheels) says she is going to ride in a race someday. I hope she keeps that attitude

You are on your way to being a cycling family. I thank my son daily for getting me into cycling, getting up at 6 AM on a Sunday to teach me how to ride clipless, and telling everyone that "his mom is cool."
One of the best things about this was one day 2 years ago when he was home on leave. I was just riding home from a friend's house, after being out all day when my cell phone rang. I was really tired and had about 6 miles to go. My son said, "Where are you?" When I told him, he said, "What? You rode 55 miles?" I replied that it was his fault, since he had caused me (and my husband) to spend thousands of dollars and to become addicted!
