    Yeah!!!

So, dare I be brave enough to join you on the 1st? We will see...
I'm so excited for you Tiff. We may be able to get some riding in before I go camping next week. We'll have to figure a way to squeeze it in between all of these out of towner friends visiting us!

Hi all! I'm back from vacation now... and just found this... count me in!

now then... how early is "early" I'll be driving up from SD... I'm only about 45 mintues from the border, so waaaaay down south... but as long as I pass a Starbucks along the way I'm good with whatever! LOL

Someone just let me know where and when... and I'll see if PurePink and her DH wanna come too... she's a member here but never posts... but she reads everything
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

If I'm planning it will probably be 9a. Just need to have the time to get up and get ready and I know so many people have a ways to drive. Unless no one else wants to lead and you guys decide on a date, I'll set up the next ride as well. OC seems to be centrally located. Weather will play a factor. If its warm, we may be repeating some of the beach routes in order to stay cool.

FYI: Tracy and her husband John will be joining me June 10th to do a beginner/easy MTB ride through Limestone Canyon (public land/private access). If anyone is interested, let me know. email is bcipam@yahoo.com.

    Pam,

I think we've figured on 7/1 for the next one, then maybe trying for the last Saturday in the month after that. Until we all get our 'feet wet' so to speak, it is very helpful that you plan the route so, thank you!

    Tracy

ps. the ride on the 10th is an evening ride starting at 5:30pm in case anyone thinks they'd like to come!

Brandy I have to say I'm digging on your Blog as well. I want one!!!

Saw the photos of the family out for a ride. Very cool! OK have to know what your husband does for a living. He has that "look" - he's either an design engineer or in industrial sales... am I correct or close?

Thanks everyone...I really enjoy blogging, I just need to be consistent with it!

Pam...dh and I had a good laugh at your guess! People usually guess that he's a cop and say that he has that "look."

Hi Tiffanie - Congrats on your new bike! You must be so thrilled. Can't wait to see the pictures! BTW, how did the practice go with the pedals?

Pam - you can lead a ride for us anytime you want to! You are a great ride leader and any route you lead is fine with me. I really enjoyed our tour of OC; the scenery is so beautiful! Can I have some more please?

bikerchick68 - Vacation? What's that? I'm jealous! Where did you go?

Brandy - What a great picture of your DH and kids! I still can't believe you have 3 kids!!

Can't wait to ride with you all again and meet more So Cal TE gals!

Oh cop... that was my next guess!

Actually the shaved head threw me off. I have this group of guys friends who are all automotive design engineers - they all have the bald head, tattoo thing going on, but then again alot of them also have long beards.

Husband has a tough job - I have alot of respect for anyone who takes on that task. God bless you both and keep him safe!

    Ventura County ride?

    Hi Girls!!
I may be able to join the July 1st ride too. How many miles is it?
Not sure if that was mentioned.
ALSO, I COULD plan a TE SO CAL ride in the Ventura County area.
I am a newbie, so haven't done ALOT of routes, but would be happy to get something together. I may be not the best leader, but will do my best.
Let me know what you all think!!!

    Thanks much!
    Karen

P.S. I am doing my very FIRST metric century this Saturday at the Ojai Valley Century..which me luck!!
If I manage this one, then I am planning on the three harbors tour (July 8th)
and the Cool Breeze (Aug 19th)
