Hey - I also had a Kuwahara - can't remember the model (but it was totally rigid). It was the second MTB bike I bought (an upgrade from a 1986 Rockhopper Comp). It was an unusal bike with a 26" front wheel and 24" rear. Lovely paint scheme - very 80's- Black with pink, yellow and blue spatter. I just finally gave the bike away last year.
