PS I used to wear converse all-stars, but Nike bought Converse. I love that Nike still advertises Converse as rebellious and anti-corporate (!).

Funny, there's nothing on Converse's site about that, even in their press releases for 2003. Boo! Apparently Nike also owns Bauer, Hurley International, and the Starter brands, too.

I would love to get myself a pair of the blackspot shoes...I know the Oxfam shop here in Perth sells them but just haven't bought a pair....

I too don't like nike...

I wish Ipods would come with a sensor that tells the person there's a BIKE behind them and MOVE OVER!!! grrrrrrr...I often just want to run the runner with an ipod over...just MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

I can't get into Trek either because at one time I heard that they had someting to do with Nike. I'm glad that I am not the only one that thinks the Nike factory could burn and the world be a better place for it.
