Our biggest customer had an national account with DHL and requested all our shipments to them shipped that way - until DHL kept sending overnight packinges to Ohio over and over again and delivering them 2-3 days after they were due. Our customer has since switched back to FedEx. The other problem we've had with DHL is we can't get credit satisfaction. If the overnight packing isn't delivered overnight DHL won't issue credit, they'll send it to their credit department for reveiw. Even though you can Clearly see on their webpage tracking site that the package did NOT get delivered overnight.

Just recently: DHL picked up a package from us, took it to their warehouse, determined they couldn't ship it, returned it back to us and charged us for shipping becuase they had a "delivery" signature. Even tho it was considered a "rejected" package. The very nice lady on the phone could see it was a rejected package but was unable to offer me a credit since it was "delivered". She was going to refer my request to the credit department.

*shakes head*...I never had these problems with FedEx or UPS and we ship from work every day all over the world.

Lenusik: interesting you work for DHL. Maybe the next time I have issues with them I can send you a PM and find out what I can do to get satisfaction??
