So you see, if my things have gone missing or arrived late -- once with FedEx, once with DHL, once with UPS -- it hardly counts. I'm jinxed that way.
I think my worst experiences, tho, have been with FedEx. For a while there dh and I called them FedUp. It was beyond what I am accustomed to in the way of delayed luggage etc. But they too have got things right for me on occasion since.

Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
