I live in Queensland where we have lots of sun and lots of skin cancer.

My understanding is that you should scan down the list of active ingredients and look for either zinc.... or titanium.....

These are physical blockers of UV that is what does the job. How greasy, "sticky", thin ,thick, alcohol base et al is all just personal preference.
