hey, "smoking" someone in my book is defined as "crossing the finish line before they do"! Glad to hear things are going well with the coach!L.

Well, it has been 2 weeks since I have gone to my running coach. Due to riding 133 miles May 6th and 7th, I passed on my sessions last week.
This weeks session was intense. I really broke a serious sweat!![]()
I did some running drills, and then I ran back and forth for a bit. Not too long. He coached me some on my form. I told him I felt like I was prancing when I was running... and he assured me that my form was correct... and it just felt odd, because I am not use to doing it.
Then we went back inside and he did some more core strengthing exercises with me.
I got my "homework" for the next week that consists of what we did in our session today.
It hasn't been discussed WHEN I will really start running again... but I sense that I should be go in another month.
My triathlon season will be cut short this year... but at least I will come of out of this with perfect running form. I am also getting more time in on the bike!
AND... I just KNOW that once I am running again... I am going to SMOKE some people on the course! HA! Of course, at my last tri, I only passed ONE person on the run. So passing TWO people would be "smoking" in my book!
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
