I wear good sunglasses, but I don't necessarily think it's a good versus cheap sunglasses thing - it may be your contacts.
I don't usually have a problem unless it is a ride longer than 100 miles, in which case they seem dry and a bit cloudy after so I take them out instead of sleeping in them. I wear Focus Day & Night (30 day, sleep in lenses). I usually wear them for at least 5 weeks because I forget to change them til they feel uncomfortable. Don't tell my optician any of this.
Maybe bring some re-wetting drops along on your rides?
