I would GUESS sandy sagelands. IT's pretty dry there, and I'd guess the soils drain and dry fast. Like I said, I'm guessing.

I will be doing an adventure race May 2nd in Ellensburg, Washington. I was wondering if anyone is from around there or if anyone has been there and knows what kind of "dirt" we can expect to be riding on. Hard pack, sandy, etc. Any help would be much appreciated!!!
