    Whoa, I just posted begging folks not to use strobing blinkies! Synchronicity! From the website, it looks like the RoadID ones don't strobe. Just nice slow blink. I hardly ever see strobing ones anymore. Maybe companies have stopped making them because they're so dangerous.

    I get free blinkies at fun-runs, bike expos, etc. They don't last very long, but they're free!

    I have a Nite Ize LED glowstick I bought at REI. Item 713306. (Ack! I tried to post a link, but it didn't work!) It does a steady glow or a reasonable blink and the battery is easy to replace.

    I'm quite pleased with it. Nite Ize makes some other cool stuff, too. I clip this to my waist or helmet strap when I'm riding. Clips to my dog's leash when I'm walking him in the dark.
