    good morning TE

As Freud said "sometimes a bike tube is just a bike tube".

I'm still looking however I may have found a dog trainer. Let's hope we can teach a middle aged dog new tricks. We're consulting on the dog issues and then will work on scheduling.

Snap, feel free to post or send me info on your guy.

Oh, Sun just came out from behind the fog.

Well off to the dojo I think in a while, run some other errands maybe.

Trek - glad to hear you found a trainer!

We are having decent weather today - it's overcast, but finally there is minimal wind. I took a quick ride this morning - could've gone longer, but had to come home to gather the kids and hubby up and drive 35 minutes and judge a crawfish cooking contest. Uhhhhh - no entries. So, now I'm starving! At least we're going to a crawfish boil tonight. I did a 1/2 mile sprint on a good straight stretch (there aren't many of those on my route) and hit 21.3 mph. A new record for me Happy Day to all of you! I'm off to run errands.

Success at Trader Joe's! (and other shopping)

It's one of the cheaper grocery stores around here. Got edemame (frozen and shelled) for 1/4 the price elsewhere. Great for my new favorite instant food: 1/2 frozen corn 1/2 frozen edemame. Let thaw. Add some salt.

"Two Buck Chuck!" Happy dance! Bottle o' Shiraz for $2.99. I'm working on it right now. Purple Moon Shiraz for $3.99. Didn't buy that, cuz I was afraid I'd end up working on it tonight, too.

Clif bars 99 cents. Nectar and Lara bars for $1.29. Big BIG Tiger's Milk bars for 69 cents. (got 3 for Small Knot) Honkin' half pound bags of candied ginger 99 cents. (got 2 for me)

After the groceries I cleaned up a spot along a wall in my room, so my bike has a new home. (two buck chuck helped with that task) Hmmm, now I'm sleeping with my bike, as well as dreaming about it....

Also hit the REI sale. A disappointment, as it has been for the last 15 or 20 years. They never should've sold their soul. I did get an Onguard cable-and-U-lock combo. The most appealing thing about Onguard is that it comes with 5 (count 'em, FIVE) keys.

REI didn't have gu/clif snot flasks. I even asked a peon in a green vest, and he said they didn't have any. Poopy. I was gonna use my 20% off coupon for a flask. (a savings of approx 80 cents)

Anybody have a favorite flask? Favorite flask attachment device? (Gu makes one for handle bars, Ultimate makes one for arms or clothes)
