Congrats Megan! I wouldn't mind a job at a bike shop, but I would have to learn so very much as I can't seem to change my own tire without help!

Oh man, this morning I was hired at an awesome bike shop in town. I am so excited. I will be learning so much about bikes and how they work. I will actually learn how to build them. Crazy huh? I get mad discounts too! What a perfect job for a young cyclist, I'm tellin' ya! I work at a coffee shop and a bike shop ( my two passions). Thought I would share the good news!

WHOOOO HOOOO!!! Congrats, being "the shop girl" is so fun. I get up every morning and think, "I can't wait to get to work." Now if only my mother could understand that...![]()
The only downside will be the few male customers who insist on treating you like you don't know what you're talking about because you're a girl, but the good stuff far outweighs the few jerks.![]()
Congratulations! What an ideal combination of jobs!![]()
There is a bike shop here in Seattle that has a coffee shop in it, I'm hoping to find it one of these weekends.

I would go for that! So would my dh. I know a new and used book store owner. And she as two shop cats too.Originally Posted by maillotpois

If you extend that franchise to Middle Earth, let me know. I could run a shop like that.
And congrats on the new job MH

"I will try again tomorrow".

yup, I think that's it! Near 52nd or something. I tried to find it one day with Mr. Grumpy Small Knot and drove by, vowing that one day I'd go BY MYSELF and have a latte and a gander at the pretties.
