Getting to Know You!

My name is Kathy and I'm from Decatur AL. I am mom to four grown children and two spoiled Malte-poo doggies. I am a published writer, love to read, travel, go to garage sales, antiquing, riding my bike!, playing the mountain dulcimer, journal, blog, photography, cooking, and on and on. I'm a former high school math teacher and now retired and just focus on my writing.
I'm out of shape, hoping to get into shape and get some time out alone, and that's why I'm taking up cycling. I'm happy to meet you all and for all your encouragement. Just knowing you're not alone means a LOT.

Welcome and I'm a math teacher too. I can retire in a year or two, but I think I'll just keep going. I love it too much. I ride my bike to school every day and the kids think it's cool. So cool, in fact, that they have approached me about starting a biking club. Ah, I love teenagers. Go figure!
