I did a full week of commuting last week, and Saturday took the day off from cycling to take a group of students birding (Sandhill cranes, hawks, waterfowl). Then Sunday it rained all day, so no riding. Today I rode just about 20 miles. It was definitely a casual ride, interrupted by a long walk in one of the parks to look for a few birds with my husband, who met me there with the car. I think the high was 58 today, and a lot of clouds so it never really felt warm.
