I'd rather listen to Bill Bryson's "A Walk In The Woods" for hours at a time than just about anything, even though I've heard it so many times I have it memorized. It's my traditional road-trip entertainment.

I think Lucinda Williams is a great road music choice - especially the CD called "Lucinda Williams", and my current fave, "Essence".
