Try Marc Broussard. It has kind of a sort of bluesy r&b sound to it. It's difficult to explain - but really good music.

Podcasts are a great idea for when you get tired of the music and just want someone to talk to you about interesting things. The Onion does some good political satire.

Musically, I'm a fan of the rock classics: the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix. But I also love Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler.

That's all I can remember right now. I really like to have a lot of variety on long trips though. I can't take one genre for an extended period of time. I really enjoyed the comedy sets I had.
