I lheard nothing but great things about the DeSoto T1 wetsuits. You can buy them separately (top is separate from bottom). They say they're easy to get out of (just as easy as a one piece suit), They are pretty pricey though (about $300). You can buy a long sleeve top or a sleeveless top and use it with the bibjohns. That's what my next wetsuit will be...

I bought a very cheap wetsuit on ebay for about $50 and it works great for me. The only tricky thing about ebay is that you can't try it on beforehand- so make sure it'll fit.
