ok - now that I've wiped all the drool off the screen so I can see to type again - very nice ride! Tell Bubba I was thinking of him this morning - I wore my Amici Veloci jersey and arm warmers! The warmers always make me think of him!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Thanks, SK; as you know, being a Rivendell rider gives one a different philosophy about fit, and this was a concern of mine; somehow the rest of my body got to be 56 years old (still pretty cute, though)

    Beautiful bike.

Why Seven over Serotta? Was there is difference in the ride quality between the Ottrott and the Elium?

I considered the Elium but decided to go with the Ottrott. Unfortunately, I couldn't find either small enough to ride. I did find a Nove (step down from the Ottrott) and liked it so I bought the Ottrott.

I'm also getting custom wheels. That was almost as much fun as picking out the bike.

This is a steel and carbon bike. I don't think Serotta makes one with this combination of steel and carbon tubes.

I'm sorry. You're going to have to explain this to me. I don't understand the question.

Bubba is going to sell the Trek.

Finally checked this from home so I could see the pics (my company firewall blocks photobucket et al).

Very classy! It's almost like a tuxedo.

I'm a big fan of the steel/carbon combo frame. My baby (05 Lemond Zurich) is that. Smooooooooooooth.
